How strong are these rings?
Not as strong as a metal one! They need care and attention and an avoidance of hard shocks.
We have happy customers who wear theirs continuously, on the other hand we had a customer who was very unhappy when theirs broke after catching a rugby ball. We cannot guarrantee the rings strength, but we are happy to replace any ring that brakes in the first year.

How to care for a wooden ring?
If you keep your ring polished, using the pot of wax supplied, the wood will never wear down, unlike a gold ring. If you wear your ring all the time, including washing up, showers and swimming, it should be polished every day. If you only wear it occasionally it is mostly dependent upon your hands. If you hands are dry, they will take the polish off the ring quickly. (We do not recommend getting the ring wet , but the occasional immersion will not harm it if well polished)

What if my ring breaks?
If it breaks in the first year we will replace it free of charge (as long as you promise it was a fault with the ring and you didn't slip with a hammer !)
Please note that we no longer use Holly (as we are not satisfied with the colour), and we have now started using Sycamore instead.

I still don't trust credit card orders, what can I do?
Our system is very safe (safer than a restaurant for instance), but if you are still not sure, you can always fill in the forms, but put **** instead of your last four digits, then you can send these separately, or phone them through. - The chances of someone hacking one and intercepting the other has got to be low, even
for conspiracy theorists!
